To be
watching Sky TV in Poland you will need a Sky
dish between 1.5 - 3.0 metres depending on where you are and what channels you
require. For example in Warsaw you will need a 3 metre dish to receive channles such as BBC1 and
ITV which are on one of the Astra satellites called Astra 2d. The reason for this is because it has
a weaker signal for reception outside of the UK. In many parts of Poland however we have customers
receiving a good signal with a 1.5 metre dish.
What we normally advise
customers is if possible buy a dish which is bigger than you probably need. A rule of
thumb is if you know someone who is receiving the sky channels in Poland that you want
and is near you then simply ask them what size dish they have or even measure it.
Finally one of the best sources
of advice are local dish installers in your area as they will probably have fitted dishes for other
customers in your area and will advise you the best size dish to buy.
From our point of view
there is nothing worse for us than a disappointed customer because although we have supplied
equipment with excellent visual and audio quality, they do not get the best from it due
to them fitting an unsuitable dish for receiving Sky TV in
Poland

Sky Card and
Subscription
To be able to
receive Sky television
in Poland you will need a Sky card which we
will activate for the requested subscription package. We will supply you with the Sky card and

Administration and UK
Address
Whether you deal with us or not the most important thing is to have someone IN THE UK
who knows what they are doing to look after the system and card should any problems occur. We have
a team of people who are available 365 days a year to ensure that you have trouble free
viewing.
You also have to have a UK
address which we supply. We can use your UK address but invariably when we get a problem because of
an address it is normally on cards where the customer has supplied his own
address.
We make a small yearly charge
for looking after the card and supplying the UK address. It works out at about 0.40p a day (that is
less than the cost of a newspaper) which I feel sure you will agree is excellent value for money
for peace of mind.
