SKY PLUS HD BOX

The Sky Plus HD Box is a phenomenal piece of technology but the best bit is that it is really easy to use. (My wife is a technophobe and she loves it) 

As well as allowing you to watch at leat 50 channels in High Definition (HD) it also allows you to pause live TV, record 2 programs at once and even watch another already recorded program at the same time.

The Sky Plus HD Box comes in 2 different memory sizes (500 Gigabytes or 1 Terabyte). The Sky+HD 1TB box has one terabyte of storage space and can store up to 240 hours of high definition (HD) television.

The increased memory size for Sky Anytime allows you to watch up to 100 hours of on demand HD content.

Let me at this stage say that the 1TB box is just an optional upgrade really as the 500GB box will still allow you to store about 120 hours of programming, plus the 1TB box is a little more expensive. I only have a 500GB Sky Plus HD Box and I have never filled it to capacity.

Another important factor is that without question you cannot fail to have heard about Sky's lates innovation - 3D TV. 3D TV on Sky is no longer a thing of imagination but is available NOW. This box will allow you to watch 3D programming on Sky providing you obviously have a suitable 3D enabled TV, and subscribe to the 3D facility with Sky

OK the bottom line is as simple as this. To obtain the best from Sky you need a Sky Plus HD box to enable you to watch the more and more channels every day changing to HD and be able to record them, I believe the picture quality will take some beating.
